Bandcamp Waives Fees on November 6 and December 4, 2026 and Bans AI-Generated Music
Bandcamp has said it will waive its platform fee completely on the two remaining Bandcamp Fridays of 2026, November 6 and December 4, according to chartlex.com.
On an ordinary sale Bandcamp takes 15% of digital music, dropping to 10% once an artist passes $5,000 USD in sales, and 10% of merchandise. On those two Fridays the platform fee is waived entirely.
The company also bans music generated wholly or substantially by AI, according to the same report.
